Degree Show 2011

The private view for the University of Westminster Photographic Arts Degree Show was last night (16/6).

I showed my 'Kings Parade' book and one A1 print from it.

Here are a few photos from the evening. I didn't have a lot of time to take many!

It is open til Monday and I recommend dropping by and having a look. There is a range of great work on display.

Address: T1, Old Truman Brewery, 81 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL.

Identity

I have not had a lot of free time in the last two weeks and have photographed much.
So instead here is a project from 2009!
It was produced for a university module and we were given the title 'Identity' to work with.

Each individual is compiled from four or five different people.
Exept one which has not been edited.

Ross Noble in Croydon, Cambridgeshire

Ross Noble dropped by Steve Parish's pub in Croydon this morning on his route to Bournemouth.
It was lovely to meet him.

Here are a few of the photos I took.

Rave!

The sound of drums beating.
Hundreds of people dancing throughout the night.
The excitment of the impromtu event.
The flashing blue lights arriving in the middle of the night - too late to prevent the event.
The recovery the following day.
Repition of event.
Finding new locations.
The worker who cannot afford renovations.
The place left forgotten.

Rave!

Kings Parade

Kings Parade is the book that I am exhibiting at the University of Westminster Degree Show in London in a couple months. I will post details about the show soon in case anyone that follows this blog wants to come along.

The following are six photographs that feature in the book consecutively. Also in the book is a short essay written by Kevin Clarke.

I have been working on this project since August 2010 and I am very happy with the outcome.
